Effective Armor

AMAP-SC is a special development of IBD for the protection against armor piercing shaped charge weapon systems. The excellent performance results from the use of advanced materials, arranged in an intelligent composite structure and adapted to the particular threat.

The system effectively protects against attacks exemplified by RPG-7 or Explosively Formed Projectiles (EFPs). It can be used purely as an SC protection or incorporated in a synergistically modular overall AMAP concept – such as AMAP-IED. AMAP-SC has proven its performance on more than 5.000 vehicles in various missions.
