High Level Interior Protection
The Spall Effect – High Risk for the Crews
The spall effect is an underestimated danger for the crew inside the platform. It is caused by threats hitting the platform thereby generating shock waves in the armor material. When these waves reach the inside of the armor they generate spall which is ejected into the crew compartment at very high velocities. Therefore IBD liners are an essential part of a comprehensive Survivability System providing an optimum protection for the crew.

AMAP-L C1 – High Temperature Liner with Superior Ballistic Performance
The IBD NanoTech C1 Liner offers significantly higher ballistic strength compared to standard liners. The overall strength exceeds that of standard liners by more than 15%. Furthermore the liner has an extended temperature range. The stability of the ballistic performance over the operating temperature range is significantly improved. The C1 Liner will also contribute other positiveeffects such as increase in strucutral stability and the reduction of noise, vibrations and IR-signature.
The liner can be produced in any 3D shape to be fitted to the vehicle structure.
