AMAP^TM-AIR is the result of the development of new nano materials for armor technologies of the 4^th generation. Due to the outstanding ballistic performance of this new material the weight of the protection can be reduced such that it becomes light enough to be integrated in aircrafts and especially helicopters. This is an important improvement in the survivability of the crew while maintaining the dynamics and payload of the aircrafts.
